Waist Cincher Workout

May 11, 2015 by Cheryl Marquez Leave a Comment

Waist Cincher WorkoutWhile I was drowning my sorrows for Pacquiao’s loss to Mayweather, a friend and I had a conversation about getting rid of the mommy belly. My kids are older so they aren’t good excuses for why I can’t wear a bikini. Anyway, we got to talking about “waist training” and how you can reduce your waistline with consistent use of a waist trainer or workout corset. She said she bought the Ann Chery Workout Waist Cincher and lost 2 inches around her waist in a month. She made her decision after looking at what different stars on Instagram were promoting and reading reviews on Amazon. While I’ve seen the same posts on Instagram, I wasn’t compelled to buy one until I talked to her because she was the first person I knew who had used one of these things.

After looking into it, I decided to buy the pink Ann Chery Workout Waist Cincher Vest (latex) in pink because I read that you don’t get the bunchy back fat rolls that you might get as you tighten the cincher. I was super excited to try on the waist clincher and wore  it under my clothes for 7 hours at work the Friday that I received, It helps you have exceptionally great posture because it’s uncomfortable to slouch while you’re wearing it. Then on Saturday, I wore it during the Day 6 – Bikini Body Mommy Challenge 4.0 workout. It was a little bit tough to bend during the warm-up, however, it helped with posture and keeping the belly tucked in while working out.

Set your interval timers for 50 seconds of WORK, and 10 seconds of REST. You can follow for Bikini Body Mommy 4.0 Challenge on YouTube for the video, which is what I did. You should keep a pen and paper to record how many repetitions you completed for each exercise. Before this workout, I warmed up with about 20 minutes on the exercise bike.

• 3 MINUTE WARM UP (march in place or do jumping jacks)
Jog in place
High Kicks
Reverse Lunge Hop (Right)
Reverse Lunge Hop (Left)
Squat Jacks
Mountain Climbers
Squat Thrusts
Wall Sit
• 5 MINUTE COOL DOWN (follow the cool down in the video)

Let me know if you signed up for the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge 4.0 so we can keep each other accountable. You can add me on My Fitness Pal to see what I’m eating, the good, bad and yummy!
