Lessons Learned About Love

September 13, 2014 by Cheryl Marquez Leave a Comment

Life is Amazing

Writing has always been an outlet to get my thoughts and emotions sorted out. The last few weeks have been tough,  it was especially difficult to walk away because my heart never stopped loving him nor could I imagine life without him. In the end, I realized the only way to save myself was to leave him alone because I could see that he wasn’t happy with me anymore. What follows are some truths I’ve come to face and lessons I’ve had to learn.

♡ I’ve learned you can love someone mind, body and soul and it will never be enough if they are busy looking for something better.

♡ I’ve learned that even if it tears your heart apart, it’s better to walk away than to be taken forgranted.

♡ I’ve learned that if he doesn’t think you’re worth the effort to display affection, it’s better to be alone.

♡ I’ve learned if he lets you walk away, the relationship wasn’t worth fighting for.

♡ I’ve learned no matter how much it hurts, eventually the pain goes away.

♡ I’ve learned the only love I need is my own.

♡ I’ve learned when you give up looking for love, it will find you…this gives me hope.

♡ Through the tears and the sadness, these lessons are learned and once the tears dry up, happiness will start to grow again.
